Welcome to Dubai!
Dubai International Boat Show
With 25 years of maritime history, the Dubai International Boat Show (DIBS) is established as the MENA region’s number one marine luxury, leisure and lifestyle industry event. DIBS is the premium event to gain exclusive market exposure to the largest and most influential gathering in the MENA marine industry.
Dubai International Boat Show sectors allowed more than 30,000 visitors from over 120 countries to experience elite superyachts, leisure crafts, marine pastimes and exotic supercars, as well as luxury & equipment supplies and services.
2018 – The new location during the Dubai International Boat Show (DIBS) was the Dubai Canal in the Jumeirah district. DIBS will be held at this location during the editions of 2018 and 2019. From the 27th of February till the 3rd of March DIBS took place. All leading yacht builders found their way to Dubai, so also Lürssen was there. Lürssen had a stand of 10m x 5m (50sqm). Half of the stand was inside a tent and the other half was an outside lounge. This year the temperature in Dubai was cooler than normal so the outside lounge was fully appreciated. After the show we transported the stand materials of Lürssen to Singapore where they were present as well.
The Dubai International Boat Show is a spectacular event. The view from the harbor is incredible, and the buildings lining the skyline are seemingly endless. With an abundance of exquisite restaurants, delightful shopping facilities and, of course, some of the world’s most impressive boats on show, Dubai is a city that promises you will never get bored. With so much variety to choose from, make sure you take a look at our FairPromotion leisure guide and fully enjoy your experience at the show.
Dubai’s International Boat Show displays not only boats, but a variety of companies working in the diving or automotive industry. Even though our loyalties lie with the boats, the extra industries allow a real variable element of the show that attracts a wide range of people. We love being surrounded by the huge boats that never fail to make an appearance in Dubai. And better yet, a lot of brands that we love represent themselves in the huge air-conditioned tents. Bliss!
